“Do what you love and what makes you happy”
College is the place where you start to become an adult and make your own decisions. You pick your major and minor, as well as the courses that compliment them. It is the time where you learn the most about yourself, in addition to thinking and planning for the future. While picking your major and deciding your future, are you chasing what you love and what makes you happy? Or are you doing what your mother or advisor thinks is best? If you do what you love, things such as picking courses will be easier; your path of success will be more catered around your happiness, as opposed to being stuck in a field you hate for the rest of your life. Keep in mind, that doing what you love and what makes you happy includes being a part of a group on campus that interests you, even if the extra curricular doesn’t match your field of study. When you pursue something that makes you happy, it doesn’t matter what it is, as long as it's something YOU want to do.
