Susannah says, "So long".

Susannah Geary '18, long time senior editor and writer for Red Skies looks forward to her future.
I never really thought this day would come, being a college senior about to graduate, especially since I took an extra semester to finish up my Creative Writing concentration.
I always felt as if I was behind because so many people I went to high school with had their college and “2018” written in their Instagram bio, then they all graduated this past spring. Yet I’m not behind at all; I’m still graduating the same year as they did, just without the excessive cap and gown pictures…but it does feel strange. I don’t have any finals and I finished my thesis paper, and a 20 minute standup set a couple of weeks before the mad rush of finals even started.
I feel weird, as if I should be stressed but I’m not. Now I can really start working on my career. Sure, I’m not really sure what I want to do, but in February I’ll be interning on a set in New York City and working with drag queen Peppermint. So that’s not even just a start, but an amazing opportunity.
Who knows what will come next.
