Surviving October

October can be a bit unruly in Salem, so your friends at Red Skies want to help, and we've come up with a guide to assist your navigation of the spooky shadows, the eerie shallows, the wicked scary strangeness, that is October in Salem, Massachusetts.
1. Get a costume. 2. Know your drink limitations. 3. No fake weaponry of any kind in the downtown. The good men and women of the Salem Police Force, do not like it. 4. Do not drive downtown. You can easily walk down Lafayette Street to the City's center in 15 minutes. 5. Be aware of Uber prices. 6. Prepare for religious protesters. 7. Don't get angry if people assume you're a tourist instead of a student. 8. Use the buddy system, don't leave anyone behind (we don't care how cute she/he looks in those tights). 9. Be aware of 8am classes on Tuesday morning. 10. Have an amazing Halloween!
Bonus Tips! 1. Check out the City of Salem's Haunted Happenings listing of events. 2. Call your mom.
