The only color of meaning left in the world is purple,
All I can see in my mind turns purple.
The universe is so vast that we could explore for thousands of years,
Millions of dreams woven into mysterious lavender purple.
Both prince and princess possess a daring and vulnerable heart,
Their enchanted meeting sparkles elegant royal purple.
Our imagination travels in time and emotion outflows spontaneously.
Words that never satisfy burst into creative violet purple.
Life is like a journey; I too am on my way.
I have seen the world and enjoyed the joyful orchid purple.
The moon may be bright or dim, she may wax or wane,
But we learn to let go with melancholy midnight purple.
That the powerful play goes on; While young, try your verse and brew.
The thunderous sea may fade into tranquil amethyst purple.
Turning my head, I see the dreary beaten track.
Impervious to rain or shine, I’ll have my own hopeful true purple.
