Positivity on Tuesdays

By: Sam Trullo
Despite November fourteenth’s Super Moon, moods on and off campus have been less than super. Daylight Savings has come and gone as has the presidential election but there is still negative energy looming over us.
How can we overcome this extra dark period of time? I am hoping that I can bring some weekly joy with a new article called Positivity Tuesdays. Therefore, I am using the leftover energy from the Super Moon to spread some much needed love. For this week, I will be focusing on the following positive ideas:
Accomplishments are accomplishments, no matter how big or small. What matters is putting in a full 100%. Finish your Bio lab, get to class on time, go to the Gassett Fitness Center.
Be a positive beacon of light. The more positive energy that is put out, the less negative energy there is. Smile at passersby, hold the door, say good morning to strangers.
Self-care is important. Eating, sleeping, and getting sunshine are just the first steps to being healthy. Take a walk with a friend – enjoy these fleeting days of fall.
The end of the semester has the tendency to be bit tough. Staying positive isn’t always an easy task, yet the first step is all it takes to start the ripple effect of positivity.
I hope that I can start a positivity ripple and I hope that everyone reading this can too.
