October -- Our Recommendations

Visit Russell Farm Orchards in Ipswich -- there are hayrides, apple picking, barnyard animals to feed, cider donuts.

• Try some Pumpkin flavored anything – coffees, muffins, pies, beers (for those over 21).

• Leaves and foliage are magnificent – walk the bike path to Marblehead.

• Visit the museums both in Salem & Boston.  The MB TA has a $10.00 weekend train pass.

• Get your sweaters unpacked.  Find some socks.

• Decorate your dorm room.

• Pull your costume together, so no last minute stress about the dress.

• Read a scary book.

• Watch all those scary movies on TV.  We recommend Hush or The Conjuring, or Hocus Pocus -- which was filmed in Salem. 

• Check out the Halloween candy.

• Have fun -- walk to downtown Salem -- it's all about Haunted Happenings all the time.
