Spring break is officially over, and it’s time to tackle your end of semester work. Maybe you have a group project coming up, a long essay you’re dreading, can’t put off grad school applications anymore, or it’s time to update your resume for your job search. For all these stressors and more, the coming weeks are a great time to visit the Writing Center for advice.
Writing Center tutors can help with every stage of the writing process, from brainstorming to outlining to organizational revision to grammatical proofreading. Tutors can help with any type of writing, from creative fiction and non-fiction, to formal scientific reports, cover letters, and personal statements. Whatever you need help with, whatever your comfort level with writing, the Writing Center is a welcoming and no pressure environment with experienced peer tutors!
Open Monday to Thursday 9-4 & 6-9, Friday 9-2, and Saturday 12-3, the Mary G. Walsh Writing Center is located on the first floor of the Frederick E. Berry Library and Learning Commons (LIB113) and is FREE to all students!

Upcoming Events include the Veteran’s Writing Group on April 2nd 7-9pm, the Long Night Against Procrastination April 23rd 8-11pm, and the bi-weekly Creative Writing Lunch April 2nd, 16th, & 30th at noon. Stop by for an event and meet fellow writers!
*Writing Center Hours are effective through Finals Week, at which point they change to Monday to Friday 9-5.
