A First Year with Suggestions to Answer Questions

After my first few weeks on campus, I compiled a list of small suggestions that would help first year students in their navigation of  SSU.  I (and others) might suggest:

• A GPS app for incoming students to help identify various important buildings and landmarks.

• A clearer map to help new students.

• Markers or signs to show a drop-off and pick up areas of the Viking shuttle both on campus & in downtown Salem.

• Making sure all building hallways have either a directory or signage to indicate the direction of specific classrooms.

• Have an Instagram page to inform students of upcoming events on campus to work in tandem with Facebook page.

Any other suggestions?
